Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Kalenda Pichou Kalonji (John) I'm married and I'm a father of 9 childrens
And I'm a Refugee here in Malawi
And I'm writing to ask for your help with something that will change my future :a computer for school

I enrolled in BYU-Pathway worldwide because I believe education opens doors. Through Pathway connect, I'm learning English, math, and professional skills, My dream is to complete a certificate in business /family history /health and get a better job to support my family.

But right now I don't have have a reliable computer.

BYU - Pathway courses are 100% Online. I'm required to :
# Attend live zoom gatherings each week
# complete assignments in Microsoft Excel and Word
# Take timed exams with a Webcam through Canvas
# Do group projects with students from other countries

A computer will help me :
1.study at night after church responsibilities
2.submit assignments on time with out stress
3.fully participante and get the most from my education

I need to raise 775,000 MWK=$ 450 for a reliable laptop that meets BYU-Pathway requirements.
